Our program is designed to teach all levels of Scuba Diving with emphasis on working with students who are hard of hearing or Deaf. Under Water Astronauts offers courses from PADI Bubble Maker and Seal Team courses, for children beginning at 8 years of age, as well as Open Water Diver to Dive Master (professional level). UWA also offers courses in CPR training including primary and secondary first aid.

Under Water Astronauts strives for courtesy, compassion and common sense. To provide our students with additional confidence and self-reliability. To reinforce the strength that is within each of us and to share this gift with others. Everyone should have the opportunity to explore some of the most beautiful scenery on the planet. What we call the “wonders under the waves”.

UWA is a California based Scuba Diving instruction program located in Northern California and currently offers classes in the Modesto area of the Central Valley as well as the Monterey and San Diego areas of California. As the program grows, UWA, in cooperation with the friends of UWA, will offer programs throughout the U.S., Internationally and in additional languages.
